And apparently, getting there will be half the adventure! From the sounds of it, Space 220 is primed to open in mid-February (right after our upcoming trip of course), while there hasn't been a peep regarding Regal Eagle. What type of restaurant is Space 220?
Space 220 will be a table-service restaurant, meaning you will need an advance dining reservation to experience it.
Image: Disney. The Space 220 page on the MDE app now says "coming soon" Food & Drink. This technology is similar to the screens used at the One World Trade Center and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Additionally, the upcoming dining establishment is being referred to as their "new Space 220 themed restaurant in Epcot."

I don't generally get excited over the new things opening in WDW. This new two-day and two-night vacation is an all-immersive experience that will take you to a galaxy far, far away in a way that only Disney could create. State Parks is not taking new reservations for campsites, cabins, and yurts through June 30, 2020. My trip is in October and my day to reserve is March 31st.
In this Disney Parks Blog exclusive, I can share today that reservations will open later this year for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, which debuts in 2021 at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Space 220 is set to open in early-2020. Though Space 220 might seem like a strange name for a restaurant at Walt Disney World, the number actually refers to the number of miles above Earth diners will have to "travel" to get to this new dining location. Will I be able to make a reservation for it or will they not start taking reservations until it’s actually open? The Patina Group has posted a new job listing in their International Services that may have revealed the name of the space-themed restaurant coming to Epcot. If there’s a restaurant opening soon (Space 220) set for April 1st, will they take reservations before it opens?
